This Apeks Wing WTX-D40 is part of the (PSD) Public Safety Diver gear set-up.

The Apeks WTX-D40 PSD Wing is a streamlined single-cylinder donut wing designed for divers who need added lift, dependable stability, and modular flexibility. Built as part of the Apeks WTX system, it pairs with WTX harnesses, backplates, and accessories to create a customized backmount configuration for a wide range of demanding dive environments.

With 40 lbs / 178 N of lift, the WTX-D40 PSD provides increased buoyancy while maintaining a balanced, low-profile shape in the water. Its continuous-loop air cell helps reduce side-to-side air movement, while tank stabilizer bars allow the cylinder to sit securely within the wing. A low-profile K-style inflator with brass buttons, front lower-left dump valve, large drain grommets, and center mesh drain panel make this wing a durable, stable choice for single-tank divers who want a streamlined setup with extra lift capacity.
