SERVICE AND REPAIR

When was the last time you had your (life support) Regulator and/or BCD serviced, per manufactuer's requirement?    if you are not sure, have your life support systems serviced immediately for its annual service before your next diving adventure.

Our state of the art Service and Repair Department offers the highest quality diagnostic and repair equipment available and our highly skilled manufacturer-trained technicians will deliver the most efficient and quality equipment service and repair.

Winter Pricing:

Service your Regulator, BCD and Dive Computer(s) when you are not diving during the off-season.  Save 10% during  th off-season (January, February).  Make sure your gear is here before the end of February to take advantage of the savings

Active Riverside Diving Club Members receive 50% discount for labor during the off-season winter pricing.

Major Service which inlcludes disassembly, cleaning, and replacement of all seats and seals is recommended either annually or per manufactures requirement.  We do require that the owner performs preventive maintenance (fresh water rinsing) as outlined in the user manual.  The owner should also bring the regulator into Riverside Scuba for an Annual Safety Inspection to check for proper funictioning.  We will advise you of any problems that might necessitate an earlier than scheduled servicing.

We only use Major Service Kits containing all necessary service parts (o-rings, filters and seats) for 1st and 2nd stages.  These items are not supplied free of charge under warranty unless found to be defective from the factory.

Annual Scuba Service:

  • Pre-service check to help troubleshooting later in the service
  • Disassembly of the 1st stage, 2nd stage and gauges
  • Clean metal parts in an ultrasonic cleaner.
  • Soak and scrub plastic parts in warm soapy water.
  • Inspect all the parts for excessive wear, cracks, and corrosion.
  • Replace all the required o-rings, filters, and seats.
  • Reassemble the regulator.
  • Adjust the regulators intermediate pressure, flow rate, and breathing resistance according to the manufactures specifications.
  • Submerge regulator to check for leaks.

Warranty:

Warranty Service Requirements Are As Follows:

  • Completed Warranty Registration.
  • Original Receipt.
  • Proof of Service or Safety Check Within The Last 12 months (depending on the manufacturer's guidelines).
