Service your Regulator, BCD and Dive Computer(s) when you are not diving during the off-season.
Save 20% during the off-season (December thru February). Make sure your gear is here before the last week of February to take advantage of the savings.
Major overhaul Service which inlcludes disassembly, cleaning, and replacement of all seats and seals is recommended either annually or per manufactures requirement. We do require that you perform preventive maintenance (fresh water rinsing) as outlined in the manufactures user manual.
You should also bring the regulator into Riverside Scuba for an Annual Safety Inspection to check for proper funictioning. We will advise you of any problems that might necessitate an earlier than scheduled servicing.
REGULATOR INSPECTION
- External Inspection
- Check regulator system for signs of corrosion
- Check hoses and fittings for signs of ware and dyr rot
- 1st stage
- Inspect filter for signs of flooded or contamination
- Check the IP to ensure it is stable and within acceptable range.
- 2nd stage
- Check mouthpiece
- Check purge cover
- Check exhaust valves
- Check operation of adjustment knobs and venturi switches
- Check cracking effort and flow rate are within manufactures ranges
REGULATOR ANNUAL SERVICE
- Pre-service check to help troubleshooting later in the service.
- Disassembly of the 1st stage, 2nd stage and gauges.
- Clean metal parts in an ultrasonic cleaner.
- Soak and scrub plastic parts in warm soapy filtered detilled water.
- Inspect all the parts for excessive wear, cracks, and corrosion.
- Replace all the manufacture required parts i.e. o-rings, filters, and seats.
- Reassemble the regulator.
- Adjust the regulators intermediate pressure, flow rate, and breathing resistance according to the manufactures specifications.
- Submerge regulator in water to ensure proper function.

(01) Inspect Bladder Manufacture Date.
(02) Inspect Bladder Condition.
(03) Bladder Inflation Test.
(04) Bladder Submersion in Water Test.
(05) Inspect Dump Valves.
(06) Inspect Inflator/Deflator Hose and Assembly.
(07) Inspect, Disassemble and Clean Power Inflator.

CYLINDER
HYDRO & VISUAL INSPECTION SERVICE
DOT requires your Cyclinder be hydrostatic tested every 5 years by an authorized Hydrostatic Testing Facility. The Hydro Testing Process takes 7 Days – Depending on how many cyclinders are sent in by other shops and Paintball Companies. Once the cyclinder passes it's Hydro Test, the cyclinder will receive a current hydro Stamp and Visiual Inspection Sticker.
This Service Takes 7 Business Days.
If you need the cyclinder within 48 hours, a rush service of $20 is available if is dropped off no later then 11AM.

OTS FULL FACE MASK SERVICE & REPAIR INFORMATION
Riverside Scuba is a full service OTS authorized Full Face Mask dealer, Service and Repair Center. Our technicians were trained by Ocean Technogoly Systems (OTS) how to properly service OTS equipment by breaking down the Full Face Mask, breaking down the 2nd Stage Regulator, reinstalling components of the Full Face Mask, reinstalling the components of the 2nd Stage Regulator and proper adjustments of the 2nd Stage Regulator, to trouble shoot, service and repair your OTS products.
It is important to follow the service and maintenance guidelines associated with your equipment to ensure that it stays in proper safe and functioning order. It is also important to choose a servicing center which uses genuine OTS parts and service kits for working on your equipment.
