ADVANCED SCUBA DIVER
The Advanced Scuba Diver Course is a continuing education course for certified Open Water Scuba Divers who want to countinue their diving knowledge and experience. It is an enjoyable program of continued supervised experience designed to introduce divers to a variety of diving activities of particular interest and to be taught entirely in an open water setting. Your confidence and skill as a diver will increase while you experience the excitement of learning more about the underwater worldUpon successful completion of this course, graduates are considered competent to engage in open water diving activities and the areas dived approximate those of training.
Ready to Enroll in the Advanced Scuba Diver to explore new dive sites and undertake exclusive activities under the supervision of an Instructor. Your confidence and skill as a diver will increase while you experience the excitement of learning more about the underwater world.

Once this course is purchased, within 24 hours, Riverside Scuba's Training Department will email you either a NAUI or SDI Scuba Diving course activation code. Once you receive the activation code you will then creat a NAUI or SDI account and password for your account. Once you have completed that process you can start your On-line E-Learnoing portion of the course.

During training, students complete academic classroom sessions, six open-water dives, including three separate dives for navigation, night or low visibility diving, and a deep dive, plus three additional dives based on your individual preferences and available options.

- Exploration and underwater mapping
- Wreck diving (non-penetration)
- Diving in surf or currents
- Salt Water diving (in areas where most diving is in fresh water)

After becoming a certified Advanced Scuba Diver, you should continue your diving knlowdge and training by enrolling in the Nitrox, Rescue Scuba Diver and First Aid courses.
